There are two three types of rape in the manga I've read so far:

1) Exploration of real life events for the victims. It is either the exploration of life during the abusive relationship or life afterwards and eventually coming to terms with reality. I don't mind that. Usually I find them encouraging.

2) The annoying plot device that is just supposed to help readers hate a bad guy even more. I can stand it the first few times BUT HAVING ALMOST EVERY FEMALE GETTING RAPED AT EVERY TURN IS ANNOYING.

3) The kinky kind, which also annoys me. Honestly Chinese manhua why are your powerful bishounen CEOs almost always controlling sadists that need to get arrested?

I can't really say that this manga falls into these categories exactly, but it seems to be the first (if it really was rape at all). If this manga really and truly does feature post trauma events, I don't mind particularly.

This scene could've gone either way. She was either worked to death, raped, or thrown to the enemy as bait.

@Nep you mean to shoot it like a projectile based magic? then dont shoot it like a projectile. You can just channel it, like pouring water or keep burning them. Also she has so much control over magic that S rank supposedly mage is surprised, if she want she can fires a small projectile that needs low firepower to achieve high velocity projectile. Unless weak here means weak mentality cant hurt the other or you can say she is just stupid.

After a bit of thinking, I'll have to revise my assumption, because 'your grace' also used for a royalty in equal (or a bit lower) standing. So probably Zacht is a Duke, or at least Baron, but definitely not the King

@ksen Come on man. There are a lot of people who are really affected by that sort of stuff being brought up in that way. The translator or author is just looking out for them, that's a commendable thing.

Also, yea. In some mangas and novels targeted towards a generally younger audience I often see warnings about bloody stuff. It's just the author or translators being aware that since they didn't tag these stories as R-18 that they might have an audience that's too young for that sort of content.

One thing is warning about obviously exclipit pictures of shit going down, graphic violence and all that. Which usually easier to deal with via tags or other warning about mature content.
Other thing is warning about a mere suggestion what might have happened which doesn't even take one page, half of people in section never really ever thought of any particular thing happening aside just being badly treated by other party.
Point is - more often than not it's just silly warning because some people can't differntiate reality from fiction. And those warnings actually only make that lack of differentiation worse.

I recently stumbled upon comic which really made me remember some things I didn't want. I just stopped reading and that's end of the story. That's how this issue of "affected people" dealt with.

Right I just remembered the best example to describe her spells. It's basically mixed element dnd cantrips. Almost absolutely worthless in combat and an average human would have an easier time punching the monster to death

@ksen Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. To not make certain people go through that they were considerate enough to spare just a few lines of warning before the start. No matter how you look at it, it wasn't necessary but it would sure do you good if you learn to appreciate that sort of thoughtfulness.

should be since she can heat a pool, and with her precision she can increase its concentration and lessen the range

i feel like i already answer this, imagine a gun and an explosive. They both got the "explosiveness" but they use it in a different manner. Gun use can deal great damage because of its high momentum even though it uses little explosion since it bullet got tiny mass. And again she also should capable of doing this with her precise control. Lessen the mass and concentrate your fire power

And the only reason why she didnt do any of that because she is dumb, or maybe she enjoy getting raped lol

The thing is - using same logic you can make "trigger warnings" for everything ever.
That's what I mocked in post you replied to.
Leave that stuff for serious actually disturbing moments, otherwise no one like me will ever take them seriously and will keep mocking them. So overall bringing more harm than good.
Good intentions doesn't immediatly means it's a good idea, nor result in good effect.

Now i'm interested with the interaction of Alec and Shiori, after looking at the WN a bit, this gonna be good

But yeah, i guess the premise of this story is how to coup with you trauma/bad past, and helping each other in overcoming them.
Alec got a bad past too from what i understand
