Yep it is exactly as you said. I think that what we're in for next is Taun taking Valentines off, Sumi not getting the chance to give it to her, and then depending on the author's tolerance for drama, either when Sumi heads round Taun's place and the confession is accepted, or the trauma response makes Sumi think she's been rejected and she runs away heartbroken.

Taun though obviously thinks they're dating.

You can't forget that dawg! Taun's going to have a panic attack from that.

Imagine you recieved chocolate with someone's blood mixed into it on purpose by that person. You eat the chocolate without knowing, find out and then throw up and never want to be around people again for like 3 years. Every valentines day you remember that feeling. That's Taun.

Taun is very level-headed about it when she tells sumi what happened to her in middle-school. Of course sumi forgot though as she's almost in a trance when it comes to Taun. Sumi loves her so much and doesn't know how to handle it. It's very cute. Ideally though, sumi shouldn't recreate that blood-chocolate trauma by accident tho...

I'm fairly certain sumi's memory overlapped and is confusing the story details and a recipe and thinking there's a secret ingredient to chocolate but can't remember what it is.
