@beazacha Since "saint" is a recognition given posthumous in catholicism it doesn't seem how most manga/manwha use it as some sort of title with legetimacy has any resemblance towards the western word "saint". So if they actually bother having a reaction at all towards comics in fictional universes it would probably be that they are using the word wrong to beginn with.

@beazacha Same word different definition. Even Saint means different things among the believers of Christ depending on their sect. It's like comparing the biblical God with Zeus. They're both gods but we totally know one's fundamentally different. In mangas Saints seems to be a role given to by the Church or by a stigma of some sort or prophecy while most Saints in the catholic sense were given after death for their deeds.

I'm pretty sure "saintess" is just a way to give a position that is female exclusive since catholicism has no such classification, most saintesses would have power similar to that of a cardinal or pope depending on the author, so it's better to think in those terms.
My guess is the "saintess" wants to use the heroine to let the temple gain control of the empire through bloodline.

Like everyone else, I’m also confused on why she was regarded as “fake princess”, since it seems to show that she is the legitimate daughter of the current emperor, and her younger twin brother was crowned as crown prince, right?

Given that fact, LOGICALLY SPEAKING, she is the RIGHTFUL princess, and Eclette showing up from nowhere wouldn’t have the right to reclaim any position.

But if it’s about Mana, then that’s another story.

Idk how a saintess could be approving of torture. They’re supposed to be forgiving right?
Saints become saints after die too so... ???
Also IDK HOW she could be a fake when she’s actually the blood related daughter of the regent. She may be less entitled in terms of pedigree but not birthright. She has a better claim (legally) from birthright compared to the heroine.

i guess she's implying that the current emperor had the heroine's mother driven out and so stole the crown from her? so his line would be usurpers and so impostors??

tbh eclette is the rightful heir as she's the daughter of the previous emperor but he went crazy so his brother who's second in line (if he didn't have any heir) succedeed the throne. but it doesn't make sense that the saint said mc had false bloodline eventho she had royal bloodline too from her father who's the brother of the previous emperor????

Oh my, the author doesn't let us rest, this freaking Saintess it's gonna be dangerous and I already hate her to the core, just reading what she did to the Princess in the original story gave me chills... geez. >n<

The only way Eclette would be the right heir is if the current Emperor had usurped the throne or if his position weren't accepted as legitimate, but that's not the case (as far as we know); the current Emperor ascended to the throne rightfully and that turns our MC as the legitimate princess as well. It wouldn't even matter if the 'heroine' comes back to the empire, that wouldn't change anything since she wouldn’t have the right to be more than another 'princess' or something similar, but not the heir.

Unless the MC is adopted as well or if this is a matter of mana... also, why does the Princess is the 'heir' if we have a Crown Prince already? Or what does that mean?

Maybe the Saintess really doesn't care about the truth, maybe she's saying all that because the 'heroine' is the daughter of the previous Saintess and that's what matters to her and what she thinks it's 'legitimate', which it could explain why she's so obsessed to help her and destroying every person against the 'heroine' taking the throne. Idk.

What I care for now is, what kind of plot would the author do so she could earn money? And leave the palace?
She is still seen as "evil-who-might-have-changed-but-maybe-not".
I want her to leave since I don't see any sentimental relationships that she has in the palace.

Fucking bitch ass saintess can get out....

4 chapters in but I’m still confused how shayla isn’t considered a “real” princess??? Isn’t she the twin of the prince so like what’s wrong with her bloodline or something? I’m confused sigh

I really hate the series where the MC keeps triggering the death flag when she is trying to avoid it. It seems that most of the MC don't really do a job to actually avoiding the death flag. She could just ignore everything and spending her life as a princess but of course, she thinks she has to take actions to "prevent" the flag and end up triggering unnecessary flags.

@sxcy me too!!! i don't understand how she is considered fake?? plus her literal twin bro is the crowned heir so if anything, shouldn't they be targeting him instead? so much confusion
