@Kisato
Oh, I've checked the raw, she complained violently, but not that outrageously.
And she got beat the shit out of her too.
Accusing someone of blackmail this outrageously while the supposed victim would even use violence to disprove it... should send you to jail too, but apparently the law is a bit... plot convenient in this world.
Also, even in the latest raw, she's still not back in the group.
We see a brief flashback of what she did, and she appears to watch them live in the latest chapter available (ch. 18)... but she's pretty much out of the story for almost more chapter than she was in.
The mangaka just did her grand background, showing how much it means to her to be in this group
and then just kick her out for the rest of the story... that's not drama, that's dumb storytelling... IMO anyway.
@aFFi
Weeh.
A bit of drama is alright, just to change some gears here and there; but as it stands, investing so many chapters to focus almost solely on melodramatic "court" arguments in a story about stumping dungeons...
That, alone, is dumb storytelling.
But going as far as potentially removing a character for the sake of fake drama? Now that's a step beyond. That's galaxy brain right there.
So many decent ideas sprung lately that failed to deliver. Almost like these people get a good idea but lack the skills to flesh them out so they resort to either overused cliches that make no sense in the context or just plain stupidity.
@yldDavid
Mmm.
I call them the "That'd be soooo cool!" guys.
The sort of people to have 1 random idea that feels really cool in their heads, but fail to see that once you get to that scene, the rest of the story falls apart.
Essentially: "It'd be cool for a skinny guy to pull out the legendary sword!" -- And then he does. And then the story goes under.
Ain't really all that surprising that isekai stories fall apart after 10 chapters. Also, now that I think about it, this story probably tried to maintain the MC's status quo as "lucky boy" because the author had no idea how to keep writing the story if the MC would move places in the world.
Basically a cool male protag. It came to prominent and widespread use during the run of Gurren Lagann and the re-emergence of Hokuto no Ken. Basically every JoJo character minus the flamboyance. The archetype would be Guts from Berserk.
@GerryCerryBery Older actually and it somewhat changed it's meaning considering at the beginning it was just someone misspelling "I'm Gay for Archer"(the Fate Character) Funny how things like that can explode and change.
