I was wondering what was with that weird exchange at the end, but then I realized she responded too quickly. Like, he didn't even finish saying her name and she responded immediately. I think he was a little surprised by that, and she realized that she sorta talked over him as a result and probably thought she was being rude. Inb4 she starts apologizing profusely while he tries to get her to calm down to tell her there's nothing wrong.

Oh, so the reason for her working is because to fake the story like , she was a palaces some departments worker and they met and fell in love.
But I think she is a commoner. And so Emperor would not be able to make a commoner his fiancée. So I at least thought Emperor will make some fallen noble family adopt her, even if she will be a temporary one
