LN what are they and how do I obtain them

I keep hearing about LN as someone new (ironic considering I’m Chinese) to Asian media in general I have no idea what LN means and I’m curious how I obtain and read one

LN : Light Novel : A printed novel published by a company.

WN : Web Novel : A novel published on the internet, promoted by the author.

Many of the Japanese LN are a reviewed (edited/rewritten/trimmed) version from an original WN.

Ln is some abbreviation of light novek, generally most isekai s , others also but less, are written novels,like ones in bookstores and all,all mangas with the tag adaptation are mostly adapted from light novels,some are adapted from web novels which are written online by authors.

As for getting them, most translators put there raw links in the description of the manga, they cant do english unless the novel is adapted in english, otherwise you can Google search them however that is also ineffecient as most of them don't get a english adaptation,popular ones do get fan translated though , some well known manga/anime from light novels are:
-Solo levelling
-Yahari ore no seishun rabukome
-The world of otome games is tough for mobs etc etc

If you understand Japanese and are willing to spend the money , links are generally given in the description, but i am not sure whether they sell novel also ,they generally sell manga
