Loading Problems from South Korea

Hello, I've recently had to move to South Korea for work. I'm having issues loading to the site from either my Desktop or the MangaStorm app on my phone. Sometimes it works great, but most of the time I can't even get one page of the manga to load.

Is there some kind of denial of service protection in place I'm running into from overseas? Or am I just screwed due to being so far from the states now? Using a VPN to connect to a stateside server doesn't seem to fix the issue either.

I've tested a bit more and i can connect just fine with cellular data but having the issues when connected to my WiFi. I've looked into it a bit further, some other people have had issues with similar apps/WiFi issues due to their routers using IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time. Has anyone else had issues like this?

I live in Italy and for days I have noticed a slowdown in the site.
The loading of chapter pages is also so slow that sometimes they are incomplete.
It only happens to me with mangadex, which is why I doubt that there is something wrong.
I only use the computer and the ethernet cable. :/

It could be high traffic that's slowing down your connection, if the infrastructure is old and/or bad more people accessing the internet slows down your download speed considerably. In my case in the morning my speed is perfect, but as the day progresses it gets slower, up until around 1am or 2am when it goes back to normal. Since you live in Italy it could be that due to the quarantine more people are using the internet at the same time.

Hi - I'm having the same issue, surprisingly.

I'm in the Netherlands and when connected to WiFi or when using wired internet, older chapters aren't loading. When I use cellular, it all works fine.

What could be the issue? I think it started happening when I got fiber (and another ISP).
