Cool. I saw something very similar, called "the red dart" or something like that. The conclusion from both stories basically comes down to: don't be too greedy and absolutely never summon humans.

That means for the rest of his life he is trapped in a 24-hour bubble centered around that locker. He must live in constant fear, since anything can prevent him from returning to the locker in time.

I wouldn't call that living anymore.

Oooh that was good, it felt very classic. What a fantastic thing.

Also it looks like the old man had a kid that did the same thing

Now this is a great way to ensure you get repeat customers! That old man is almost a better marketing genius than delphine.

@Alrange thats an interesting idea! That way he could continue as he did, too bad neither I nor the old man thought of it and could warn him. At this point he is already summoned tho. So at this point he's is better off summoning accomplice's, a bunch of ppl who help eachother summon everyone, with shifts and several redundancies (including making sure to summon yourself if you dont trust them), and also can pool together their income to keep the locker theirs (and possibly use it for real cash, summoning papers on how to cure cancer, sticks with digital data they can copy, and the like).
Can even ensure they have a redundancy of someone normal that can summon them after the deadline, if all other redundancies fail and they all go poof.

@Akiko depends on how it works, could be that when it's a general request it just conjures something (I dont think the him that was summoned is conjured tho, since then he would have run into himself by now), so wishing for those girls might not have caused anyone to disappear.

If only he had put 2 (anyone can use the locker) and 2 (things vanish after 24 hours) together sooner, he might've avoided his ultimate fate.

That’s depressing asf. Your human drive to live is strong is so strong you discount the fact the man surviving is only a shadow of your formal self.
