A professional skydiver gets trapped on a plane in the air. The cockpit door is jammed and a cassette tape message was left for him.

"There are 7 parachutes on this plane. Blue, Green, Red, Purple, White, Black and Yellow.
Only one of seven parachutes has not been sabotaged badly ripped canopies
There is 20mins until this auto piloted plane crashes into a mountain.
1. Blue is heavier than Red
2. Red is heavier than White
3. Purple is heavier than White
4. Green is heavier than Purple
5. Green is heavier than White
6. Purple is lighter than Red
7. Yellow is between Red and Purple
8. Black is not immediately next heavier parachute after Red
9. Green and Blue are not next together.
10. Green is next to Black
11. Second heaviest bag is the safe parachute.

Which one is the safe parachute?

Honestly I would have just opened them all up and check then pack the correct one again.

I'm still unsure but I just want to impart my answer.

2nd heaviest parachute is black

blue
black
green
red
yellow
purple
white

I don't know if the statement
"... purple and white, black and yellow..."
has anything to do to confuse with the answer or is this just a red herring? 😕

@Teddy, Yup that's the solution lol. It just a case of wrong mathematics. The real calculation should be

x/3 for one letter and 2x/3 for the other where x represent the money and the denominator 3 being that one letter has one x and the other has two which totals to three.

Forgot how the calculation actually went so here's the video https://youtu.be/5LWfXhggC70

I'm probably wrong but i did it like this
1. Blue is heavier than Red
Blue>Red
2. Red is heavier than White
Blue>Red>White
3. Purple is heavier than White
Blue>Red>White | Purple>White
4. Green is heavier than Purple/5. Green is heavier than White
Blue>Red>White | Green>Purple>White
6. Purple is lighter than Red/7. Yellow is between Red and Purple
Blue>Red>Green>Yellow>Green>Purple>White | Green>Purple>White
8. Black is not immediately next heavier parachute after Red
Blue>Black>Red>Green>Yellow>Green>Purple>White | Green>Purple>White
9. Green and Blue are not next together.
Green>Blue>Green>Black>Red>Green>Yellow>Green>Purple>White | Green>Purple>White
10. Green is next to Black
Green>Black>Blue>Red>Yellow>Purple>White
11. Second heaviest bag is the safe parachute.
Black is safe.

@alipz

Yeah was a typo fixed. Originally thought that 5 was too easy.

The answer I was looking for was Black. It didn't matter whether blue or green was heavier as long as black was second.

@m520i
After looking through again. I messed up. Red is also another answer. I should've wrote
"Yellow is between/next to Red and Purple"

A man murders his wife cause that's what men ought to do when their wife goes cheating and... incidentally gets caught in a zombie outbreak with gaping bite wound on her neck and goes home speaking speaking gibberish like, "insula lobe or fourth ventricle" whilst staining the marble kitchen top.

He needs to get to their daughter's school without dying cause rocking up at a nursery with pieces of meat falling of you will set a bad example for the kids.

1. He can drive to the highway first (10mins) at and travel along it for 10 minutes before getting off the highway.
2. He can wait for the motorway bus and travel to the nursery's closest highway exit (20 mins) and use the motorbike he parked at a nearby carpark (to hide it from his wife) [ex-wife] And travel 10 mins to get to the nursery.
3. He can run to the train station (12 mins). Take the trihourly trains next one in 5 minutes and get to the nursery's closest train station (5mins) and run to the nursery (5mins).
4. He can drive directly to nursery via the side streets, shopping malls and terrible civil engineering. 40mins.
5.Oh and he needs 10 minutes to pack enough supplies/guns (this ain't a country that uses the metric system) if he needs to walk safely and 5 mins if he uses a vehicle the entire way.

What's the fastest route? Keeping in mind this man is a herring fisherman and not that smart (separate features; no correlation). Also that travel time/schedule includes zombie delays

More than one answer, tell me how it took to get to your answer cause I spent way too long on this

then it would be 2, wouldn't it?

Since 1 implies that the nursery is nearby the highway exit and thus moving by motorway bus would require no preparation time due to 5 and 20minutes would bring him to the nursery

Ah what I said no?

1 does not imply its closeby

all of the travel and waiting times are all clearly defined except the ones that aren't

Massive hint
99% of motorbuses does not arrive on demand neither do they stop directly at your door

Smaller hint
Mans a fisherman and not that smart, he might have left out some information that he didn't think about

Answer in spoilers incase others wanna take a crack first

Two answers that I know of are both 35mins
1. Driving to the highway 10mins. Driving along the highway 10mins. After getting off the highway either keeping driving in car or take the motorbike from option 2 10mins. Add the 5mins from preparation = 35mins.
2. Neither where nor when the next motorway bus is known thus unviable
3. Preparation 10mins + running to station 12mins = 22 mins. Now the next train is in 5mins. Obviously he'll miss it but the next train is in 25mins as they are trihourly. All he has to do is wait 3 mins at the train station. Then take the train 5mins + 5mins run to nursery. = 35mins.
4. 40mins+5mins, what more can I say?

Was this good?

I was always bad with the train and time type of logic questions. I'm probably not the right person to ask if it was good or not.

I'm not sure I call it good as it has 2 correct answers and calling a answer unviable because some part of it is unknown is a bit wrong in my opinion. It makes it unknown, it could be the same as the other two depending on the circumstances, this would mean there would only be a wrong answer.

@Granitefish

I did mention there would be more than one answer but I guess having only one correct answer would help readers with being more certain with their answers.

Each of options are purposely missing some information that you must find to complete it. Except one where you definitely can't find. You were supposedly able to tell that from the other one that mentions stops. I guess I could hide it by adding in risk percentages and asking which is the fastest and safest route instead.
