I've actually only read like two One-Shots, and haven't read this yet, so I may have overrated this Mangaka from what I've read so far. It's alright I think. If you want more like this (or better), I recommend looking into Junji Ito's niche, 80s-90s shoujo manga. (Yes, Ito mostly published in the shoujo magazine "Halloween")
Have you checked out Takahashi Yousuke, Noroi Michiru or Yoshimi Seki? They are some of my horror manga favesI've actually only read like two One-Shots, and haven't read this yet, so I may have overrated this Mangaka from what I've read so far.
... I definitely think they're underrated and fairly talented though, but "great" may be too strong of a word.
I don't know yet until I read more, but, thus far.
I also read all of Junji Itou's work.
I can't wait for his latest to get licensed/released.
Waiting on The Liminal Zone Vol. 2, etc.
Ooohhh love Uguisu. If you like manga with more unique art styles Kanako Inuki is tons of fun@Voyvoy_
I'm not familiar with any, but I did read (in 2021) Takahashi Yousuke's 'Hebi Onna Hajimemashita' which I thought was decently good off my rating of 6/10.
I don't remember it, though...
I think he was in the few of horror mangaka to look into that I found.
... I was on a huge Junji Itou spree in 2022.
Unfortunately, I haven't explored efficiently or found a lot of great horror, so thanks for these suggestions.
I've read a few good horror,
but one horror mangaka that comes to mind is; Sachiko Uguiso.
