Edit: Nevermind seems to a spam bot account, that is posting chapters far ahead and poor quality. Checking their account you can see they did this to multiple mangas today.

Now that I think about it, half the reason I made a mangadex account was to see my favorite stories in my second language and discuss them with a audience from a different culture than my own and be exposed to those perspectives. For that reason, I've appreciated this community in general but especially the TL groups who often put tons of labor into an accurate representation of the original works.

All that yapping just to say this isn't that lol. No one can stop you from uploading poorly scanned images full of watermarks and untranslated hanzi, no one can stop you from messing up the phrasing and no one can stop you from inexplicably uploading something fifty chapters ahead of where the last one left off. Just know that even if you think this is a "two cakes" situation it honestly does nothing more than disappoint readers, and low-key disrespects an entire language.

Edited crossed out part, they had their manga mined from other websites. They don't do the mining themselves.

The fact they're randomly choosing a chapter on the website to "translate" then posting without much editing, shows they're doing this simply to promote the watermark. Doesn't seem to have any other intentions besides that.

I saw some chapters they posted saying they're only uploading because it's been a month since last post, but they also posted other chapters that were recently updated like a day or two ago. Which means that is a lie, they're not just posting because it's been a while since last update.

Also why would chinese manhua reading sites even do that with english readers? Like everything on their site is chinese and for the chinese.

I'm not defending what their doing since posting like 0-50 chaps ahead of current series being translated is wrong and 2/5 of them were mine.

Id like to figureout why theyre doing it too 😭

I did not realized I just spoiled myself with this chapter smh. Next time I'm gonna check out the last chapter I have read for this one... this is truly a reminder that there is people out there trying to ruin the fun for others by doing this.

Generally, something like this is only removed if the translation quality is really, really low - specifically, the rules mention machine translations (and given how good MTLs are getting these last couple years, I think they mostly mean 'obviously bad' MTLs). If it's plausible that a human did it, then I think the staff usually lets it live.

But yeah, when the translation jumps 50 chapters ahead, it's usually an attempt by somebody to fulfill some kind of agenda rather than being helpful. Not always, but it's a fairly safe guess.

Look at this person's chapters. They are all bad. Like the texts aren't even inside the bubbles idk what else can be done. Long Awaited Feelings is such a good story to only be pooped on by a troll and we can only sit and watch
