Nothing to get, really. He was in a coma and had a nightmare.
But the nightmare was still a world where he didn't suffer as badly from his lack of ability to look people in the eyes, while in the real world he had brain damages enough to be in a coma (meaning he'll likely have to spend several years to fully recover his skills in such basic things as walking and talking, if it is at all possible), and it's still the world where people beat him up randomly to begin with.
(Oh, and he'll probably go broke due to medical costs and being unable to work, so becoming a homeless cripple and beggar is possibly on his "to-do list".)
