I only read the first chapter or two. The hero was strongly prejudiced against "real" girls, especially gal-types. He wants a girl who is pure and clean and prim and proper. He comes across a twin-tailed girl about to be attacked and stands up for her, even though she looks like every bit the sort of "real girl" "gal" he hates. She fell for him in an instant and, hurt that he's so uninterested, she determines to become his perfect "ideal" at any cost.
