Looking for PC games to sink hours into

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for PC games with addictive gameplay and a story that keeps me playing for hundreds of hours without getting bored. I like open world, action adventure, third person or FPS games with great mechanics and a compelling story.

To give you an idea, I've put a lot of time into GTA 5 (536 hours blocky blast ) and about 90 hours into RDR2, but there's nothing new to keep me going.

What games keep you playing over and over again? Are there any hidden gems or underrated titles I should try?

Compelling for parents, it forces them to take action immmediately so their children don't turn bad apples before falling from the tree.

Those are the most sinking hours "games" with an extreme addictive gameplay.
You guys don't know how satisfying it is to build an entire civilization out of random rocks on the ground.
