If they really wanted us to see the loops, showing her entire rise to power at the start was a bit of a mistake.
Now we know exactly what will happen, taking some of the oomph out of the whole misery part.
In a story like this, you show the misery to garner sympathy and anger until the satisfying reversal of power... now... if we're going to be subjected to every loop, it's just going to be misery-porn.
Hopefully, it goes back to the "aftermath," because otherwise it feels like we're read the back of the book, and it simply revealed the ending.
