Hiii, happy new year, so before anyone suggests any of the following, It's unfortunatly not some story where you see a protag see any type of redemption, comeuppance, nor major character arc which transforms him, rather the story is depressing. The protagonist is not a main character, nor are there any main characters, he is simply the perspective. He is a terrible person, he is good at reading people and good at mahjong, he works for the parlour, simple because he has to, but if he wanted he could do more, but he never will. He lives in a dump with other mahjong parlour workers, the art style is amazing, better than anything you can imagine, nearly on par with berserk.
