I flipping knew that it would be the same as in Kasaneteku... or almost.

Honestly, if you manage to translate puns (or concepts based heavily on language, like here), and it still works, pat yourself on the back. That's hard.

While I'm not Japanese, what I know of their culture is that backchanneling is more frequent and intrusive (for us, at least) than it is in the Western world. In this case, it gives a strong impression that while he's the one talking the most, she's the one leading the conversation, since she's also asking questions to get him to speak more.

Of course, something that isn't mentioned here is that he's definitely not talking too much. She's consistently encouraging him to speak more, so he's not speaking over her or dominating the conversation in any way she'd be uncomfortable with.

She still sucks at the art of conversation, but she's learning. And she's good enough for him.

I’m learning about communication here more than the entire time I’ve spent at school
Same I was able to deepen more about communication & this can truly help tbh, but make sure to just not do what this tl note in this chapter is saying all the time since sometimes, the speaker can sometimes know that it's either your partly listening so saying the right words & fully actively listening should pretty much help.

Honestly that's L advice from Kon, people who reply to me only saying that stuff, I end up losing interest in, like actually give me something instead of NPC ass replies
It's like those stereotypical girl you find on dating apps. Expect the guys to carry the entire conversation.

I wouldn't say that the advice is bad, though, since it was only meant to carry her through that day, and it's only part of the skill set for conversing. It's not like, "If you know this, you won't need me anymore, kthxbai!"
