oh this is so good i actually teared up a bit at the end. like, he's still a bit of an asshole for being fatphobic and all, but at least she didn't have to turn back skinny and i think that that's so *chef's kiss*

Don't see why a story about someone being okay with someone gaining such a large amount of weight is considered "great". Ask a doctor if it's good for you, especially as you age. Sure there's no need to be super skinny or anything, but being a healthy weight and making sure to at least moderately exercise is important for health.

It's not that people love skinniness and hate fat, it's that people have a survival instinct that tells them that they themselves and others should maintain a minimum amount of health and fitness for longevity and to also be ready for emergencies.

Also, how many people who are pointing at people and accusing them of being "fatphobic" are hypocritically drooling over and fantasizing about hot / ripped / curvy guys and girls and would totally cheat on and / or break up with their significant others if they got out of shape, especially if they also stopped caring about their looks / clothes?

Getting sexy and staying sexy for someone is a way of showing love.
