Honestly I feel like he wants marriage with her but he wouldn't be the one to bring it up. LOL
Many thanks

Honestly, I don't mind the "no marriage" thing even in real life. I do mind however when it actually means "I don't see a future with you" or "I won't commit that much". But if both parties love each other and just don't want to get married because they don't see value in marriage then all is great.
Sadly, in this webtoon it gives me the bad vibes of "I had a bad experience with romance before so I won't get married"

@Akera93 What's the difference between marriage and planning to have a future with somebody? Is not getting married just a measure so that when a couple separates they don't have to worry about the legal troubles of divorce? I mean in my few years a living I've never understood why a couple that want a future together wouldn't get married. I want someone to explain it to me.

Some people don't want to get married because of the legality of it. Others think it's just unromantic as in "I want you so I'll bind you to me in a legal contract that'll make you feel more reluctant to leave me than if we were just living together".
I don't know what to feel about all that but I understand it somewhat.

Also, for some other people, it's just a way to rebel against society's norms which I understand even more because I myself don't want to have kids which most people expect for a woman to want and eventually do. So, similar to that, some people don't want to do something just because their parents did it and society expects them to...like "hey you guys have been together for years, did he pop the question yet?". This infuriates a lot of people and they want to detach themselves from this stereotype

@Akera93 I'd be careful with that kind of thinking, I've met a couple of single moms who got screwed that way. I get it with people who don't want to have kids, but I think marriage is really the best security one can have for their child's future.
