I love this series so much. There are mangas that are meant to be serious, that should reach us about life. And there are ones that want to be enjoyable to read, investing enough to forget about problems and just pure fun. That's what this series is to me. The main character is just surprisingly lovable as a person, especially when you read further and learn that he has positive aspects rather than just being a flirty, twisted pervert. He cares, he can deal with struggles on his own, but he is chilled out at the same time, which adds a perfect comedic effect to the whole, still funny story (which was hilarious in my native language thanks to wonderful translators who managed to make it this way). It's simple, but enjoyable, with additional, extra surprises in the plot and transformed, creepy stories of the Grimm Brothers. I just adore it and I will never change my mind.

It was absurdly ridiculous... but fun. Some story elements seem to borrow from Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist, but it was still fun. It's still a good read though. I greatly recommend it. It's just as @MisakiManjoume said below. If you want some fun, this is it.
