Just doublechecked:
In ch 39 she made the order to take back the land.
Given how...terrified? she look while talking after, she's probably aware Filio might take this as a breach of their agreement, but maybe she share the commander's view of this area as 'human territory' unlike Filio who see it as the demons'.
Yeah there's that too but if she went with it and Flio finds out the queen actually ordered that, things aren't going to be good for her, specially because she asked for his help many times before and even made a deal with him recently to keep the lands as is as we all know.

As for Flio's, I don't think he 100% thinks that land belongs to the demons, maybe he's just using a counter argument to the plead humans make saying that land belonged to them before.

Anyways, well find it all out soon in the next chapters... I just hope the queen has a decent excuse for ordering the attack and breaching the agreement because I think she's a way more decent person than the previous king.

Someone has to interfere otherwise the war will never end. Plus he’s in the best position for this as he’s a neutral third party that isn’t chained by hundreds of years of hate that the humans and demons are chained by.

Plus this is his world now so it’s only fair that he interferes so the world he now lives in doesn’t get shittier.
My issue is that he literally lacks the authority and/or history of a whole country behind him. All he is one guy with godly power with some connections to royalty from both sides.

Imagine yourself as a common man from one of the sides. Why would anyone listen to him who doesn't even know the country's history, AND he's some guy from another world that hasn't even spent like a year (not sure about this myself) in this new world? If they refuse to listen, what else is he gonna do except stop them by force? That's totally gonna help. Heck, I don't think anyone else knows about this godly being's existence aside from a few people and royalty.

My biggest gripe is that this series is literally called Chilling in Another World. The whole series stopped being chill after the author brings in any form of politics like this instead of chilling in his farm with his new family. He already ran away with his whole farm to NOT participate in this mess (as he should've) , but he's doing it now...?

it really doesnt matter if he does have any authority or history as overwhelming power can make up for this. not to mention he does have authority backing him in the form of a demon king and a human queen.

people will listen as that type of world responds to power and his is the largest by far. he essentially has nukes on his side while they have peashooters. If they dont stop fighting then yeah he'll stop them using force like he did last time they tried to fight. it worked the first time and it will work this time. and yeah the soldiers in this scene have met him before and saw how strong he was so he's not an unknown person to them.

How do you expect him to chill when the situation is the way it is? would you be able to chill if your house was burning down around you? as for the running away he did that because they were trying to force him to fight against the demons and eradicate them. He didnt want to fight on someone else's orders while this is him choosing to stop the fight so things can become peaceful.

fact of the matter is that he realized that if he wants to truly be able to relax with his family then he needs to get the sides to stop fighting. This is why he's researching a way to stop Malicium from leaking from the demon's bodies as thats the reason for the war in the first place. It takes alot of effort to take it easy.

For your last point it's cause the story forked from the LN, the LN is SoL only basically.

Because of people who only rate with either a 1 or a 10. 😒

Tbh, the only good part in this series (that I like) is the relationship/romance of the two MCs. Otherwise, it's bog-standard overpowered MC isekai. Actually, I don't really consider this a "real" isekai. it's some guy from a fantasy world that came from another but similar fantasy world!
That literally makes it’s an isekai. It doesn’t matter what the person’s original world was, if they get taken from their world and put into a new world then it’s an isekai.

How you doing GM? You still translating web novels? Also how’d you like the new Neptunia game? Is it any good?
Busy with IRL jobs now so I can't even translate novels or manga for fun. And the new Nep game is good, it just that I'm too used to the turn base system ahahahah

That sucks but I’m glad to hear the new Nep game is fun. I wonder if Pun is also on this site.

The funniest part is this MCs aversion to killing, yet they've basically caused genocide or something akin to it, twice now. Just wipe everyone's minds. Or kill the older generation and leave the younger ones that know nothing about it. Seriously. He's practically omnipotent at this point. Just do something useful for once instead of being a giant p***y.

Also, any comic where someone goes from one world to another, is considered isekai. Who would be dumb enough to not understand that. "Real isekai", lmao

The whole "I want a peaceful world" is bullshit. You need to kill the shit out of some people. Humans are assholes so just flex and force them to live peacefully or get killed. I'd be shit at negotiating :p

Bullshit argument, the only right path is to conquer the occupiers and colonizers, re-establish native rule and absorb them into the culture. Colonial bastards should have to suffer a "Kill the Colonizer, Save the Man" approach.

There's a difference between conquerors who committed genocide and attempted to wipe their cultures from the face of the earth as was done to the Ainu, the Sami, the Cree, and others versus immigration, natural migration, cultural exchange, and multiethnic nations.
