I kinda agree with you. Just kinda. I like the dark atmosphere and the suspense of them disappearing one by one while getting close to a conclusion like a certain movie. What bores me is the story feeling dragged out because of the slow progress and the repeating words and actions. Or maybe it's just the translation.

It's not that, so much as the fact that I ordered "Epic Fantasy" with a side of "Mystery," and halfway through my meal they brought out a big ol' steaming plate of "Post-Apoc" covered in "Dark Psychological" gravy.

I didn't order that, bro; and I damn sure didnt order a 35 Chapter side salad of "10 Little, 9 Little, 8 Little Indians..."

This is both tedious and dull, and if the author wanted this much filler, they shoulda gone for a new series.

I'll be honest I quite like the mystery elements presented but this series has been a bit of a hodgepodge from the start anyways. I feel like the stakes have been lost because we don't know the scale of conflict quite yet. It's like the entire beginner arc was the first chapter tutorial to a series and the real series has opened up now, but the vibe is like too different from the start.

dOPAmine is a natural drug, and the main problem is that it is a drug, so it rewrites thinking.... the only way to release it is more dopamine, thus withdrawal symptoms in the form of posts.
