Damn, Momo was totally sirious this chapter. Like she wasn't playing around, forget the mission and everything, her top priority was making sure Shamiko was safe, you could feel how worried she was with how well she planned the infiltration. Those demons should be glad they had a solution and admitted fault, cause Momo would not have pardoned them if anything bad happened to her wife.

Also, Shamiko's wife points just went up by 10 since she can cook with style now. Lucky Momo.

Mikan's comment about eating in a closet intrigues me. Is she calling the tiny apartment a closet or is it an actual one? I'm guessing an extra will address that?

Momo's naming for the operation is kind of a freudian slip. Shamiko working leaves her little time to spend with her after all.

Poor ancestor, launched at Mach 3... And seems like it took 10 times to wear the barrier down.

But yes, Shamiko remembered what's most important.

Do consider that the same term 'よりしろ' is used when
- ch 21: Gosenzo's body was first modified
- ch 52: When Momo asks Ogura to create a body for Ugallu

Furthermore:
- ch 36 and 37: Shamilator used 'vessel' in place of 'medium' since the anime used it too. 'Medium' was used in later chapters probably due to habit.
- ch 40: The announcer at the festival mentions 'よりしろ人形' which was translated to 'medium doll' as '人形' means doll / puppet / figure.
- ch 56:

I'm not sure whether changing the terms would lead to any confusion or problems (ch 40) in the future. In the first place, this isn't the first instance where 'medium' was used. Would it not be on the reader if they were to forget that medium has more than one meaning?

Tldr: 'Vessel' might be a safer word to use.

Also page 14's 2nd panel: "The cuisines effect" might have a missing apostrophe.

I've changed it to vessel - I'd have left it it as medium if it was just the one person having issues, but when it's multiple it feels safer to just pick something else. Thanks for pointing out why 'doll' may cause issues further on.

I also forgot 'cuisine' was a noun so thanks for that too.

On rereading this, I think my favorite part is the Master chewing out Momo for putting Shamiko under so much stress. He really brings on the righteousness.

I really felt Momo's discomfort here myself. Shamiko getting a part-time job and wasting time somewhere somehow really didn't agree with me. Their summer break is limited and suddenly she wastes it all on some cafe she didn't even want to work at. That would make someone like Momo who is so fixated on her wife little demon friend really lonely and irritated.

The first time I read this I didn't notice that stressed out Momo crushed the last Ancestor puppet in the final page lol

The thing about that is, that it's not actually true. This side-quest was the first time Momo made Shamiko do anything in ages. And it was something Shamiko wanted to do. Momo who is super self-conscious and worried about Shamiko naturally blamed herself, but in truth Shirozawa was talking out of his tiny tapir butt. Especially because he didn't even realize that their food really did make Shamiko's state worse.

This makes it sound like she's seeing the building layout with her eyesight while following the currents. Two separate senses. Is it possible that it should be translated more like 'I can see the building layout by following the spiritual currents'?
