There is so much to unpack in this chapter and I love every panel of it!
-Gosenzo trying to save Shamiko from Momo's pace, but getting easily bribed by a vessel token
-Momo being a lazy slob that still always wins in academics
-The more we see of Sakura the more she becomes my spirit animal
-Shamiko being so insistent that Momo saving her is super important and even making it an anniversary like they got engaged hahahaha
-Momo being easily bribed by cute tiger babies. Who wouldn't be though? I am so jealous!
-Momo's only current wish being that Shamiko makes a bento with love for her (awww). This is the most important thing to her right now as we will find out soon.
-And of course the fact that Momo despite only being lured in by the tiger babies doesn't want to go to the zoo without Shamiko. She clearly sees this as a date!

While Momo cannot get into Shamiko's dreams in her current state, she can bribe Lilith (again) to do the stalking follow up.

Anyway, lovable chapter. We got a nice view of their personalities (Momo not only likes cats but is very cat-like herself), as well as how their relationship is progressing.

Hmm... the romance is still not explicit but it sure is conspicuous as hell.

I love chapters like this. The chapters where Momo's flaws and the dark side of her personality are shown. They offer you a vision about Momo very different from the vision of a perfect magical girl with a pure heart (but stoic) that we were offered in the first chapters of volume 1.

Of course, it's always nice to see Shamiko worried about Momo. I love how she is so stubborn about keeping Momo on the good track, despite she is a demon (oh, the sweet irony 😆).

And as always, we have very depressing things mixed ... That Momo has nothing in mind for her future is a good reminder of how fucked up her life was so far, and how easily can return to being a hell, it is only necessary that something happens to Shamiko and... I don't even want to think about it 😨.

right panels 2 and 3. I wonder if Ito plans to do something with that.

Oh well, even if it isn't both of them are supernatural beings with potential for weird and wild super power usage. They could probably twist Japan's collective arm if needed.
