Don't worry Shamiko, Momo was walking around naked too. Riko planned for Momo's yukata to come undone when you two were alone in the middle of the night~
When citrus isnt the topic, Mikan is actually the most level-headed person in the series. The only other person with common sense is Anri.

Going around in only a leaf for a Yukata sounds dangerous, what if it reverted while you were out? Poor Shamiko, I don't think she'll be getting clothes from Lico again anytime soon.

Don't, Metako. Don't look at the fishes with those eyes ...

@BugDevil
I would add Sakura and Shirosawa to the list (although in this extra, Shirosawa doesn't seem to be very aware of the things that a normal human finds strange).

I'd be happy to see Shamiko wandering the festival wearing only a leaf...

shamilator, he thinks people won't know what dogeza means compared to genuflect or kowtow, but there's really no reason to localize it in my opinion, if it has an english wikipedia page i'd consider it a loanword. same with bento in 43 and 44 that's now being translated as lunch box

Sakura is probably the biggest dork in the entire universe (and that's saying a lot), who has the mind of genius. As we know geniuses tend to be eccentric and not understand the lesser people around them. Also she gave Komomo bad advice on deadlines and explained magic to Shamiko in the most incomprehensible terms. I really don't think she is one for common sense.

Shirozawa is a bit manipulative and seems woefully unaware what effect his appearance has on people. He also does backlfips even though he knows he will break his bones and jumps off heights without a second though. That doesn't sound like common sense to me.

You take stereotypes too seriously. This idea “geniuses tend to be eccentric and not understand the lesser people around them” is as wrong as saying that all men like football. Being a genius does not automatically make you eccentric and much less someone unable to understand other people, features that by the way, Sakura never showed in her short time on screen.
“She gave Komomo bad advice”
and? that you have given bad advice once (we have no evidence that it happened there other times) has nothing to do with lack of common sense.
“And explained magic to Shamiko in the most incomprehensible terms”
sorry? https://mangadex.org/chapter/735397/5
"Manipulative bit"
He did not manipulate Shamiko, forced her to hear her pleas and then bribe her with food. That was the only time Shirosawa showed malicious behavior and was desperate for help back then. For the rest of the manga he has behaved in a very sensible way and has fulfilled the voice role of reason more than once.

Being fair, one of those times he did it to escape from Momo. It was obviously a bad idea, but how many people make good decisions during a panic attack? Nor do we know what caused him to try to make a backlflip the first time so I prefer to take into account how he normally behaves.

Siiigh. No. No absolutely not. This is a fictional work, stereotypes more often than not apply. We have seen what a scatterbrain Sakura is, so I am basing it on how she acts.
Telling a kid to just wing it and that deadlines are stretchy like rubber and Momo's general impression of her tell us everything we need to know. She is ditz. A dork.
Are you seriously going to use the excuse that Sakura was using Shamiko's brain here? Come on. She can't put it into simple terms and the entire joke in that damn chapter was that Sakura's teaching is like that of a genius who cant explain stuff to dumb people. Have some common sense yourself please.

Shirozawa manipulates Shamiko and others all the time. Just because he doesnt necessarily have malicious intent and gets his ass kicked by Riko all the time doesn't change that. Re-read the translated chapters.

you know that idiocy is not the same as lack of common sense, right? Intelligence: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence common sense: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_sense
“Are you seriously going to use the excuse that Sakura was using Shamiko's brain here? Come on. ”
You said that Sakura had explained magic to Shamiko in the most complicated way possible, remember? "And explained magic to Shamiko in the most incomprehensible terms" I just put the link to remind you that she did the opposite, she look for the easiest way to explain it to Shamiko and she did it.
“She can't put it into simple terms and the entire joke in that damn chapter was that Sakura's teaching is like that of a genius who cant explain stuff to dumb people. Have some common sense yourself please. ”
What you are saying here is the opposite of what happened in the chapter. Sakura immediately recognized Shamiko's way of being (something she could not do if your sentence “geniuses tend to be eccentric and not understand the lesser people around them” apply here) and based on that he chose the best way to explain things to Shamiko and she did, she effectively instructed Shamiko on how to use her powers to reproduce the scene.
“Shirozawa manipulates Shamiko and others all the time.”
When? and Instead of sending me to see again the chapters, why you don't simply mention some examples? And even if Shirosawa was someone manipulative, being a manipulator does not make you someone without common sense.

I think we should stick with Bento. I think most people know what that means. I could see about getting that changed.

Do you know which is the funniest part? I went to sleep before you wrote this, just after the last edition I made to my comment 😅. Well, I hope you slept well.
