Incidentally, on this chapter's credit page, the translators made a joke on how little attention the poor critter gets compared to Metako, lol.

... I should say it's hard to use him on the manga without increasing the tension on the scene. Poor Michael, he did not ask to be deadly poisonous. XD

I like that the pitfall trap has both an emergency telephone and a ladder that leads out of it. Sakura's natural tendency to be a kind and helpful magical girl seems to be at odds with the entire notion of thwarting intruders.
