Nah, kyubey is ok with magical girls resigning. That just means they mature faster (and more casualties among regular humans) as they don't collect grief seeds. Kyubey is even so nice that as a bonus he throws in not changing their bodies back (non-negotiable)!

Even as she backtracked, for me the line "I thought I'd say something you'd want to hear" was kind of the real progress anyway. Momo being gay af isn't really news, but it seems she can tell Shamiko is, too. Neat.

Mikan's dialogue on page 5 panel 1, is Metatron another name for Metako or is that a different navigator?

I see now, this is exactly why "shoujo ai" is one of the tags.

Also, the fish over there is a pervert

How delightfully vague... don't count on it.
Her "brainwashing" doesn't have long lasting effects and especially not ones with this heavy an impact that completely alters someone's sexuality. She didn't even influence the manager in the first place, so that's not even a thing.
Riko will have to learn to move on to someone else.

Metako is just a nickname. He is one of the thousands of eyes of Metatron, one of the strongest angels. The super buff version of him in Momo's dream said as much.

Isn't this the first official confession in words?
Momo speaks like they are in an official relationship already.

Oh my gosh the begining art, Momo looks so cute.
Also, Momo was a big lying meanie, saying she was lying when she was telling the truth when in fact she was lying when she claimed to be lying... wait... I just confused myself.

So this was it... Cute, clear confession. If only she hadn't taken it back... Though the way she did it implies a lot of stuff (for instance, isn't she indirectly trying to confirm Shamiko's feelings?). Too bad Shamiko's brain does not have enough capacity to process it all.

For irony, the fish persistence with Ryoko is closer to real brainwash compared to what Shamiko did. Dunno what Ogura will do with the fish but I could not feel bad for it (maybe she'll just throw it down a river like in the volume cover?).

I find it interesting that the magical girl transformation is reversible (unlike what that critter from the credit does), though it sounds reasonable if the wishes are not redeemed in advance... Still, I imagine the contract cannot be signed again by the same person, otherwise this would have been an easier way for Momo to find about Sakura.

(BTW, I'm somehow pissed a certain troll used the confession almost word for word as an "argument" recently... time to block that jerk for good [/personal rant])

I love how this angel is discount Kyubey in every way. Just as amoral, but comically incompetent. Rather than entrapping innocent young girls into functional undeath that they cannot escape forevermore using fiendishly clever manipulation, they just grab the first girl with some magical affinity they see walking around and ask them "hey hey be a magical girl, here's a stamp card" until they give in and then basically lets them go back to normal (though "wounds take longer to heal" is ominous).

Ryouko could be the protagonist of a magical girl deconstruction parody all by herself. Imagine the premise of a 10-year-old girl being offered to become a magical girl, but she has studied warfare and intelligence gathering so thoroughly that the first thing she does is interrogate the magical animal until they actually come out with the truth about everything from the word go. And then she refuses all magical powers - who needs those when you've read Sun Tzu? - and defeats the powers of evil using strategy and tactics.

@Babydel

Hon wasn't a magical girl for very long, and wasn't trained all that well. She offers to spill a ton of blood because she's clueless about how much is actually needed.

This chapter kind of puts on display that Hon isn't the brightest light bulb in the drawer, bless her heart - this particular angel's recruitment strategy is so obviously fishy. Who would honestly fall for it?

I'll show myself out.
