Since it is implied that Meinya is a failed artificial Juuso made by Bondrewd, by fusing a human soul and an animal, does this mean that Juusou are reborn humans?

This seems like a good time to remind people that Meinya's full name is Meinastoilim and there was a girl among Bondrewd's group of guinea pigs named Ilim and she had the same voice actress in the anime as Meinya.

That being said, this is quite the lore dump. We get to understand some of the machinations behind the scenes, various aspects begin to make more sense, and we get more Bondrewd bullying. We also see that Srajo, while welcoming and friendly, may also be twisted and dangerous. We already knew Nishigora was a terrifying threat on a short leash, but with the revalation that those two fortune-telling children from one of the earlier side chapters happened to be half-dog aberrations now, it makes me wonder how much more we've yet to learn and how much more we've missed or have already seen without realizing. The plot thickens like the soap in Sherumi and Menae's eyes.
