That rifle was something else.

If Reg hadn't blocked the bullet, he would be dead, or at least severely damaged, heck... even blocking it left a big mark, and to this day... the only beings that were capable of leaving a mark on him were some nightmare fuel things.

For those that forgot... actually, we dont really know who this priestess is, the hints given since the beginning of the manga lead to the idea that they are a group connected to the curse of the abyss, if they want to prevent or take control, that isn't known.

The curse seems to activate every 2 thousand years, and children die at the entrance of the abyss.

Now this group, well... they clearly are well organized, and equipped, if that rifle is just one example of what they have in store, they clearly aren't just your average scrub delver group... and it seems they have clandestine connections with a few official delvers.

the enemies seem to be using living tools as weapons and the white whistle their with seems to have stolen them for herself and her team, who may also be those same living tools

enemy sniper wants to eliminate threats for her team, the priestess and that includes reg (since she saw him blow stuff up with his death Ray last time he was around) and the twins (since they can melt any flesh they see)

also, the fact that the note on her listed instructions, it looks like the priestess group can read minds (not the first time we’ve seen that in the labyrinth) and since that note said not to talk about the leader s white whistle, I’m gonna assume she did something awful to get it
Not sure how you came to this conclusion. Nothing to imply juuse/white whistle were stolen. Nothing to imply that she saw Reg specifically, rather than his "sis". Also, the note was on Nishigora, likely so she just doesn't forget important instructions/info (she is brawn, not brain after all), not because of any mind reading.

I'm pretty sure at this point ANYONE that has a freaking white whistle has done at least some unspeakable action for them to get one. Miko at least "salvaged" Prushka's "untimely death" for them to awaken her white whistle.

ALL delvers who go past Level 2 on purpose are OK with committing unspeakable acts for the sake of their goals. Whether they have to comes down to luck.

Damn, the twins absolutely brutalised that sniper guy. Their power source being memories is terrifying and makes the "bomb" analogy very accurate. Reg clearly realises the danger with how he imagined Riko losing her limbs... we can only hope they don't turn against Hello Abyss.

Holy wtf. Sniper was pretty strong. Then got fucked up by the twins then squished by the Tenmaku. Cool seeing Riko give it a name.

The twins ability is terrifying.

i didnt say the white whistle or juuse was stolen, i said that the white whistle stole the living weapons, as sniper girl straight up said that. and i theorized a connection between the juusu and living weapons as the sniper girl described the twins as "they were alive. those bombs"

Fair point, though the individuals sacrificed to become the white whistles need to do so willingly, so its less about betraying and killing your best friend as it is, them willing dying for the sake of your dream. and honestly, nobody gets that deep in the abyss without accepting that they'll die

Reg's sister has claw hands, no ironman holes

Will we see the end of this manga? I know the health of the author is not well, she had to take a lot of time off between chapters.
"she" lmao

Sometimes I wonder if people here even read the manga. The sniper comments multiple time on seeing Reg us the incinerator in that area previously all while having a flashback of Reg and his sister doing it there. What in the actual fuck do you mean "nothing to imply"? It's literally spelled out to us.
