This is exactly the intended reaction by the author.

The manga is initially (ostensibly, anyway) about this guy and two busty girls with an almost totally unveiled romantic interest in him (both have made it clear, and only one is passive about it), with those two helping him heal after the pain of infidelity. Then out of nowhere comes some flatchest who's depicted as not only important to the MC and possessed of excellent characteristics (accomplished author, daughter of powerful family), but not a bother--unlike at least one of the busty girls who, since her open interest in the MC has only been met with evasive indifference, inevitably gets jealous when she sees him sitting with another girl.

The meeting is for his job, so Akari is out of line if she knows this, but the messaging is--as always--clear: the busty girl is objectionable, and the flat one is ideal. Like clockwork.
