It falls flat to me because the entire situation felt written purely to cater to the people that get off on getting back at shitty women.

We start the series immediately discovering that this guy's wife cheated on him. We get no content before that to establish their relationship, tell us how long they've been together, show us how much he cares about her; nothing. We see the guy, we see his lady doing him dirty, and then we're introduced to some high school stalkers. Then when we see his ex-wife again, she's written in a really cliché way. There's no nuance to her behavior. Then the sisters show up (not respecting his wishes), and miraculously reveal that they were stalking him long enough to not only have photos but have video footage that show his ex is lying. It's all silly.

To each their own, but I would better writing than this to feel anything from the events happening.
