There are four volumes, they're all over 700y aside the first one (on sale, currently) and I just bought and binged all of Tonari no Futsuu na Nijika (laughed, cried, gonna read it again, soon), and have other expenses.
Not sure I like this enough to buy it, yet.
Maybe I buy volume 2 and see how if it grabs me in Japanese.
Some things are way better in Japanese! Just how the author writes.
(Nijika has every single kid talking in uber-zoomer speech patterns to the point it's difficult to read, but every character has an individual way of talking. Super hard to translate that sort of stuff.
People straight up speaking like American tiktokers with all the modern slang.
I'm not even Japanese and I'm too Showa!)
