We got a guy literally says he is joining for the participation reward couple of pages before but the 3 stooges decides to pick a bone with MC.

the authors brain power was probably depleted by the bullet system the slave rabbit and the supposedly intelligent conversation with the guildmaster

but yeah stupid clichee especially since from a veterans pov even cannon fodder has good use in a monster wave so there is no need to bully before they join as it night discourage other fodder to join and thus raise the risk
