There's a mistake. idk if its the translation or the original author. But a shark that lives 500 years and reaches sexual maturity at 150 is a GREENLAND SHARK. Not a pacific sleeper shark...they only live to 40

The two are closely related sleeper sharks. From what I found it's likely the pacific has a similarly long lifespan, but if you have a source saying otherwise lmk.

Hey, this is pretty good! Very interesting subject.
I would have skipped it if I only judged by the cover art. Volume 8 looks more like Vocaloid song art than something to do with the deep sea
