Paintings or artworks do, yes. But reading 20-page chapters is weird af on a huge monitor. And how do you read it on a sofa or in the garden/park/balcony? Don‘t tell me you read at your work desk??

Tablets are the best way to read manga, as they are the closest in size to an actual manga volume/book. There‘s a reason you don‘t see books the size of a PC monitor…
I have a special setup, I game in a recliner with a dual monitor setup. It's very comfy to read/watch/game.

The reason why books are smaller is because it's convenient, they are made to be portable. Certain books are actually huge, but it's by choice and often involves art rather than writing. I have a tablet too, I still prefer to read on my computer monitor. At close to 42,000 chapters read on a computer monitor.

Thank you so much for the translation! The official release is so slooooowwwwww!

P.S. Are you interested in doing Kyokou Suiri? That one got a slow translation as well.
I feel like I must've read the first few chapters of In/Spectre before but I don't think it's for me, sorry
"Fushi no Kami" and "Magus of the Library" are really just series that I wish got translated faster so I could read them myself
but if you know anything w/ a similar premise to these or even to "Ascendance of a Bookworm," I'll look into it
