and finally! we now know why this manga has the "Written by Sophie Schwimm" because all that's happening is a retelling of what actually happens throughout Theo's life!
It's Isayama levels of foreshadowing

I have read a very intriguing viewpoint in an old Reddit post by a french speaking fab of this manga

in France, Theo Fumis is translated as Sio Fumis. And the name Sophie Schwimm was written SoFi Suim. anagram intensifies!

Interestingly, the Haupi themselves don't seem interested in revealing that fact.

The Haupi steward even went out of his way to interfere after all that debacle... says something about their culture.

The complexity of society in this series is scarily "alive".

I mean how would the Haupi people know how the 7 Magi sealed/defeated the Emissary if their magus never returned from the campaign to tell the story? They probably only got told the version that was spread to the entire continent, no?

What do you mean by the Haupi steward went out of his way to interfere? Maybe my memory is shoddy and I'm completing blanking out on the timeline.

The Haupi steward knows it, a whole organisation knows it, the book clearly has circulated here and there at some point, to at least make rumors.

The Haupi have become(or already were) very insular and paranoid about the rest of the world, but they seem to still have a hand in it, it isn't far-fetched that their leaders know about the book and its contents.

They may have closed their borders to the rest of the world, but after what they dealt with, staying ignorant of what is happening in the world is not an option.

And even if by some "coincidence" the Steward is the only Haupi in the whole world that knows about the book, it still is impressive that he has no intention of making its contents known, what his race suffered isn't something just anyone would leave it be.

It’s not a coincidence. It was mentioned in this chapter that the Haupi Steward is fellow disciples with Sedona. And, in chapter 18, it was mentioned that Sedona was the disciple of Komako, the author of that book and the current Magus of Library.

hello again! thank you everyone so much for reading! what a twist to end on, i wonder what kind of story Theo will write… (my personal theory is that he will help Sedona pull off a Zero Requiem :V)
