I never understood why so many guys have hangups about whether or not they're adjacent to being "gay". Constantly worrying about your level of heterosexuality and whether your manhood levels are sufficient sounds like no way to live. Not happily, in any case. (it seems to me that the men who win the chad race are the ones who didn't even realize they were competing)

In this case, Kakeru is clearly a woman now and is permanently so. He's attracted to a woman. There is little practical difference between Kakeru being a boy who grew into a woman and a tomboy who went more femme post-puberty.

Probably should note that looking at his twitter lately, the author seems to be struggling a bit recently and some of his tweets are a little depressing. He also recently started drawing a new series, so I think he's just trying to cast a wide net and see what sticks in terms of popularity.

I find it a bit strange that kakeru still view herself as he even if she(/he?) literally if we take into account last chapters was and lived a girl for years now thanks to magic, and even have a bf. Just embrace it Kakeru T^T!!

I will not be surprised if we have a chapter in the future with kakeru as a mother with a child at this point.

Nah, the so called date just looked like kakeru having fun with a friend and purposely being smug while in their secret identity while in female form
