I read 10 chapters then gave up and read the last chapter.

The author conflated "lack of an ending" with "lack of development".

There's still torture by what is supposed to be the "moral" side that gets the good ending.

If it were satire it would be cool, but it isn't, and it's just a bunch of wannabe Mary Sues doing edgy stuff.

Art style was okay, and plot seemed to be good, but it could have fared well as a oneshot.

2/10. A letdown considering this is one of the more popular mangas on MD.

The tags on this site are a let-down again.
I arrived at this manga on a search specifically by the "Smut" tag, and there was no Smut in the manga. There wasn't even anything particularly Ecchi either.
Let down by the lack of lewds.

Still, there was a reasonable amount of violence. And it is a complete series, which actually gets points from me since they're hella rare... even with a forced + contrived ending
which I will forgive because Best Girl was the one brought back
.
Have a reasonable little 5/10.

It is decently good. It is 7/10. It has decent art and characters but the writing of some of them felt lacking and the ending was kinda meh. I would recommend checking it out.

Besides, some other characters deserve a special mention. Like Kurumi.

There is a fascinating gap between her "Imouto little sister" outside appearance / public behaviour while, on the inside, her mind has turned into that of a merciless sadist who could easily apply for commanding the infamous Unit 731.
War is hell, and it's scary to see what it can do on people.

This series really nails that "so bad it's good" vibe in a way that's always a mess but rarely boring. I can't imagine taking it seriously, but taking it as a parody of darker and edgier magical girl series provides a great time. The yuri was pretty solid as well, with Kurumi as the real standout character. If you like over the top edgy messes then this is the series for you, but anyone looking for something with actual depth would be better served reading something else. 6/10, one thumb up. Made me laugh out loud.
