I thought DLRevan had a good theory about invalidating/blackmailing the court about relying on a villain's testimony, but yours makes sense, too.

PS, are you translating any other manga? I can't check since you're not in a group.
I think in hindsight this makes more sense. In this arc, they made a point to explain the pre-conditions of having to have been transformed and also fighting to the end (which means actually the magical girls can run instead of lose, and they're not prosecuted). That's likely a mcguffin.

It could end up somewhere in-between of course. Maybe the gun didn't work at all (as implied, a lot of that evil prof's inventions don't), but Yuuri just forces it as evidence to show she wasn't transformed because nobody can know for sure that was the case unless they outright shoot someone again.

Nothing expect this at the moment.
I really liked the setting since there isn't anything like it at the moment, after the previous group dropped it I just slipped in. This is the first manga I'm translating actually.

Honestly, this author creates a more dread filled atmosphere than some horror stories do which is why I thought It would be nice to continue a translation.
Your skills are pretty good for something that you picked up on your first try. I haven't noticed any major things like weird grammar and spelling issues that takes me out of the story.
I was pleasantly surprised finding this manga, since this is something completely different from the same genre, over and over again.

You certainly picked a good manga for your first time. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if you decided to work on another manga, but I know that these things take a lot of time and work for what is basically volunteer work.

The problem with this is that it depends on the legal definition of being "transformed".

Although Yahiro isn't wearing her magical outfit, we still see her using her powers to fight Dark Harassment. Since it hasn't been stated that magical girls can use their powers without transforming, we have to assume that they need to transform before being able to use their powers.

Since we do see Yahiro using her powers again Dark Harassment and one the prosecution's arguments is that Yahiro fought without using her magical clothing: it's heavily implied that Yahiro was considered "transformed" at the time. Otherwise, why is it that Yuuri didn't make an argument about Yahiro not being transformed at the time? Instead, she decided to pull a wild card on the slim chance it might work.

Of course, the trial is not over yet, so Yuuri could still make that argument. But it's a huge oversight for a defense lawyer not to make that argument before the gavel was mere seconds from being dropped.

If you dig a little deeper, it's only the combat-oriented girls with these quirks...
:pepehmm:
To be fair, we've only non-combat oriented girls we've seen are Yuuri (defense), Lemon-chan (prosecutor), and the court messenger. The court messenger could be showing off some panties in her parted skirt. Can't know since her legs are blacked out. And I'm not even sure if the judge herself is magical girl, since she is the only one we've seen with big elf ears.

Thanks💪, though there were a few mistakes in some chapters which I'll probably fix when the volume release happens next month.
As for another manga idk. It depends mostly on whether I find something I think is interesting enough. Feel free to suggest something, but chances are slim I'll translate anything else soon if at all

Unfortunately, I do not know any other manga quite like this one. But I think these two aren't too bad:

Confinement King
I was Reincarnated as the Scumbag from a Netorare Manga, But the Heroine is Coming on to Me
