Like not even in the usual hentai logic like you'd see in something like Kuroinu, that I could accept. Recent chapter about "Oh we're here to protect normal girls, like you are when you aren't transformed" rings really hollow when they were just willing to have her sentence to sex slavery a few minutes ago. Really hoping that by the end of it both of them get a real defeat and get what they've been dishing out.

This is some rancid world-building.
Like, this is the kind of setting where the same evil god created Monsters, Magical Girls and the Magical Girl Justice System, specifically so they could hand out fates worse than death to pretty girls for the lulz.

This could actually be the foundation for a pretty epic story if it culminated in a rebellion arc where the evil god is exposed, fought against, and banished, with scientists reverse-engineering their magical secrets, all while the story still kept some of the absurdist humour and cleverness throughout its run.
Alas, it feels like the author is comfortable with the setting and its opportunities for absurdist ecchi courtroom drama.

Overall, the art is good, the humour is absurd, the plot twists are clever, the setting is novel, the fanservice is off the charts, and there are many self-aware references to contemporary hentai tropes. This manga stands near the apex of the 'what if hentai but halfway seriously' genre. (The actual apex is IMO Harem King's Press Journey in Another World)

It's just... the worldbuilding... it burns...

Even ignoring the blatantly obvious fact the author is just using the court cases to show off their fetish of the week (tm), it's just a blatantly gross world. If you lose even once you're subjected to random torture that can range from literal rape and forced birth to ETERNAL CONSCIOUS PETRIFICATION.

Not to mention the peanut gallery, they for some reason have, of old pedophiles watching over everything from above and catcalling everyone. It gives off the vibes of a blatantly corrupt system that cares little for the people who're essentially fighting an interdimensional war on behalf of Earth.

Of course, this manga isn't that deep. So there's no need to really take anything I just said seriously. I'm just writing out my thoughts.

Yea, the sentences are really stupid. Realism is tossed out in favor of fan service.

You quickly notice that each sentence is rooted in a specific kink. (Exhibitionism, milking/cowplay, bestiality, enimia, etc.)

Mixed feeling on this manga. It's not entirely bad, but there are just too much distaste to accept.

Now the entire system just makes a tiny teeny little more bit of sense, but still just a barely plausible excuse to write kinky stuff about magical girls. If I ignore the kinky parts (which, if I want to read about, can be found portrayed more tantalisingly in smuttier works), the story itself is decent, what with some sort of Ace Attorney styled detective plot.

One good thing is that, at least, the author clearly acknoledges that this trial system is only for the sake of plot, as can be seen with Aoi questioning it.

It is for hentai what "The Cabin in the Woods" was for horror. It shows the obvious, hentai characters exist to have sex, most of the time non consensual, and the reader wants them to have this fate, like you watch an horror for death and torture. Point in case the proposed sentences are illustrated. And the public to these trials is not so different from the monsters, they just want to abuse the magical girls. I would not be surprised if they were behind the monsters!
