Mikan: "I want to go back to school so Aoi-chan can have a normal school life again." Then she immediately gets slapped by reality when her onii-chan tells her to read a mountain of textbooks
To signify her connection to our world and technology. In some fantasy settings everything goes: guns, swords, magic, alien tech... And it was probably a template in the artist's digital drawing suite.Wait, why does she just have an assault rifle
Well obviously you hold the grip, everyone knows that, and, well, the stock has this convenient opening for the other hand. /sand why is she holding it like a sword?
she chose not to make incest for onceThis continues to be wholesome. What have they done with my incest author!
Well, let's just be glad she's not pointing the rifle at Mikan, while still having her finger on the trigger.Wait, why does she just have an assault rifle and why is she holding it like a sword?
The author hasn't bothered to address the language issue in any manner. Mikan had a five years old little brat's language skills when she was transported to the other world. It means she wouldn't have reading or writing skills either, nor would she learn the Japanese writing over there. Her Japanese vocabulary would be polluted by an alien language even if she had autotranslate magic in effect because she wouldn't have been learning more Japanese, only the alien language. Yet she can speak normally, read, and write. The only real explanation would be that the fantasy world uses modern Japanese, for an unfathomable reason. Thanks for the chapter!
Math is probably not a problem for her.
Unless Grancadia has completely different laws of nature, she should still have some knowledge of the sciences.
English is going to be hard, but if she had experiences learning other languages in Grancadia it will be a bit easier. She also has the advantage of being able to learn proper pronunciation by listening to and talking to English speakers on the internet, instead of learning it at school.
Social Studies, she will have to adapt to an entire culture she barely knows.
Japanese might actually be the worst, as she probably has no knowledge of a large chunk of the information.
Unless she actually has an auto translate/language comprehension skill that still exists after returning to Japan, then the languages are probably the most easy part.
