Its explained in the novel (next chapter the twins will more than likely talk), I cant remember what the exact word were but it's something along the lines of this was made so they can keep tatsuya within the family. The aunt already knew what miyuki was planning I'd she became the next head

It's also possible she was keeping it all to herself.

Throughout the stories, and reportedly in the novels, she has always been one who has not looked down on Tatsuya as a misfit of the family, and has even stood up to her father for looking down on Tatsuya that way. She seems to have a sense of rivalry against Miyuki, has done things to try to please Tatsuya, tried to one-up Miyuki by showcasing how her powers can actually be of assistance to Tatsuya when Miyuki's could not, and was quite pleased whenever he would praise her.

We'll probably find out for certain soon, but the signs seem to be there. Albeit spread out throughout the stories and different spinoffs.

Novel explains this part in more details. Basically, Ayako and her brother held high respect for Tatsuya. Ayako also has feeling for Tatsuya and strong rivalry with Miyuki (in both magic and in love)

To be more accurate Miyuki still has genetic resemblance with Tatsuya, Tatsuya himself confirms this as he can trace their mutual lineage to the same mother and father. The thing that allows them to have children without the common problem that such a couple would have is that Miyuki had all the traits that would cause harm genetically removed. So where normal siblings would share harmful recessive traits, Miyuki has none, so only positive traits from her side will be show up for their children.
