Long story short, he's not happy with the close relationship (1st-gen cousins) and uses that as a pretext to object so that his son can marry Miyuki instead.

The guy in the last page’s son, Masaki, is the guy that went head to head with Tatsuya and lost in that school vs school tournament. He also has a massive crush on Miyuki. Masaki’s family is also doing some politicking to keep the Yotsubas from gaining any more power and have Miyuki marry someone else, someone like Masaki so they gain more power instead, cuz Miyuki and Tatsuya are OP if both are finally give free reign to rule the Yotsuba family.
