They are both at fault, Edi doesn't know how to communicate and FL isnt expressing her true feelings even though she knows Edi's personality. Instead she's just quietly waiting on him and his decision to either leave or stay with her. And Edi is just so unaware she's doing it but he's also not expressed to her that he still wants to go through with the engagement, it's kind of a headache. He probably thinks just visiting her every so often is enough confirmation. I feel sad for her, anyone can tell a friend they are leaving but to be like "Ight imma head out" to your fiancee, what a guy
