This is the main event where the head honcho gives their monologue explaining everything to show how great s/he is, after all what makes you think Loneine was working alone? Considering how hard Edi worked to keep the fact he married Filimina a secret and Loneine didn't recognize her somebody highly placed and/or more connected than him must have given the order along with her new name. Granted he's jealous as hell of Edi but considering his actions during the times Filimina was with him I find it hard to believe he'd stain his family name and conscience by doing such a despicable act of summoning a demon for a death curse without orders from someone he'd consider a superior.
If head kahuna someone haven't seen in any of Filimina's scenes could be male or female, any age, but likely a corrupt noble used to getting their own way while using their power, influence and position to prevent being charged or arrested for breaking the law doing this because thinks can control Edi with a honey trap if she was out of the way. Although if someone have seen before the bullies from the library seem too pathetic and small fry to influence or order Loneine to cast the curse. Lunamarie has a high enough position but she seems too young and airheaded at 16 years old to want to curse someone to a horrible death. Then again, if she's spoiled rotten to the core and taken to heart the corrupt noble view of being a supreme being while others are trash to be used and disposed of as convenient while being a great actress who matured mentally early it's possible. Otherwise only the princess is a high ranked, known character who could command Loneine but seems to really value Filimina's friendship so not likely her either. Guess will just have to see if head honcho(s) reveal themselves to gloat at Filimina as since they took a lot of effort to kidnap and smuggle Filimina to current location from the kingdom's princess' bedroom rather than killing and dumping her anywhere in between they probably want to do a big reveal.

Is it just me or was Eddy making an extremely strange expression in the last panel that she saw him? I couldn't tell if it was a deadpan, disappointment, or despair.
So... it's whats her face right? Little miss noble can't take a hint? the one thats constantly hanging around eddy? She's the one behind this and her big plan now that the curse has failed is to kill filimina and then comfort eddy in his grief to seduce him? That's whats about to be revealed right?
