Well. Given that she apparently held quite a few regrets about her past life - I'd dare say she would've evolvedi nto a ghost in any non-isekai manga - progress in ~40 chapters seems only slightly stretched.
Thanks for the update. Honestly, given that this is a monthly release, it almost feels like a year reading this arc.
As for the chapter, Joshua doing god's work and being the wingman we readers needed. Well, now that he can be open to his own ship (with no love rivals that we know of), its only fair he'd make sure to keep it that way as Leonard IS originally his girl of interest's former crush.
Also... a semi nod/acknowledgement that reincarnators are discarded as normal. Well, wasn't it the case already? Gurl, you met the literal god of that world. Surely, normal people don't have the experience you have. And as for her past life, I'm not sure if its the same for the novel and I get some memories are that important
and if I interpreted it right from the spoilers (plus, I believe this was mentioned in this arc but I'm just putting a spoiler tag just to be sure), this was literally MCs price of making sure the people she left behind are well taken care of: The fact that she has to carry the "burden" of memories of her past life. But still... they already talked about this one on one with Leonard, why is flashbacking and mentioning her ex lover still relevant at this point?
Damn, that faceless, nameless past lover from a past life has a titanium grip on Lily. Let's hope even titanium manages to rust and decay now, setting her finally free to get together with Leonard.
I think that by showing that she can no longer hear the former lover's voice it shows that she is finally starting to move on as she is no longer plagued by the voice that stops her from loving someone new
