She actually just hates the fact that he always portrays himself as the villain like most readers do. If im not wrong they are actually decent friends and she became good friends with charlotte, but only after the two start dating and Akihito finally doesnt villain-ise himself in every bad situation

They do have history because she knows about his dark past. I dont think theres actually any animosity between the two, but i dont remember fully since its been a while since ive read the LN

Her words to him at the top of p22 are pretty indicative of her being more aware of his overall situation than it would first appear, yeah.

She comes off as someone who knows MC's deal, thinks he's being an idiot in denying himself basic happiness, and is doing what she feels is most efficient in getting him to stop being a dumbass and just accept Charlotte wanting to get closer to him.

Which, readers can chafe at her methods, but MC needs multiple people who know his deal to tell him to pull his head out of his asshole and move forward with his life, or this will get very tedious, very quickly.

As we saw a chapter or two ago when the other two had started to look at him more favorably and he immediately shuts it down.

This is one of those cases where there’s clearly something going on that we’re not clued into yet.
