Except everyone failing proper first aid on the sprain.

1) You shouldn't apply ice directly to the skin -- wrap it in a dish towel or a t-shirt or something.
2) I'd like to make a remark about them getting her ankle wrapped sooner, but considering there was this weird post-bath time jumping done, I'll let that part go.
3) At no point was her leg shown to be in a properly elevated position [i.e. above the heart when laying down] to help reduce the swelling.

I really like that volume 2 cover its far better than the first one in my opinion, that tan chick looks sweet.

Here's a general question... Our MC has a terrible hairstyle... But can a manga character have a glow-up? Is it realistic to expect him to get a more stylish cut. He's lost a lot of weight, but he is still identifiable because of his mop of a head of hair. But can an MC have a glow-up that changes his appearance?

Be careful what you wish for. There's another recent romcom out there where the MC was forced to get a new haircut to look more stylish, and the mangaka honestly seems to be treating it like it did so, but basically the entire readership thinks it's hideous. Like to the point some people dropped reading it because it violated their suspension of disbelief too greatly.

After that I see "new haircut for the dull male lead" to be an incredibly risky operation.

(I wish I could remember the name, but I think it was pretty generic and it might have been a victim of the massacre, so I can't seem to find it.)

He has reasons for his act. We've seen some of those with his mother's rotten treatment and his complex over his sister's talents. If the series goes long enough, however, we will eventually get to the linchpin trauma event that amplified all that to this level.
