[Mainsite] Can't add manga to new MDList

If you go on a manga page > add to MDList > new list > make sure it's checkmarked > click save it will not add. It seems like you have to wait like 30s or so before it's possible to add. When I found out I tried refreshing the page and adding to new list multiple times, sometime up to 5 times before it actually gets added. Lost some good manga to this

Edit: Actually one just now I was unable to add for I think about 3-4 minutes..? I did the refresh > re-add thing 4 times, and then it finally had the checkmark so I thought it was added. Then I went my MDList page and saw it never got added after all.

Edit again: figured it out. Scroll down to find out what is causing this.

A safer way :
go on MDLists page > New List > go or refresh the manga page > add to MDList > save

If you go on MDLists page, the title will be add to the MDList.

Always double checking from now on but it'd be nice if the "List added successfully" and "Lists updated successfully" prompts actually weren't deceiving us poor list curators 😭

They are not deceiving, but some of that information has a long lived cache time so it's not always reflected immediately on the UI

No really; I made new lists via that menu, added the manga, clicked save and then days after the list is empty. I had like 6 empty lists that I made last week for specific tropes. There's definitely something weird going on. Try it yourself!

UPDATE!

If you create the new list via the manga page, uncheck the new list, save and refresh, wait a little and then finally you go back to the MDList dropdown and checkmark it and save it seems to work first try?! Only tried once, but suspected this had something to do with the auto-checkmark upon creating a new list from there was broken so I tried this and it worked. Will try again and put in an edit.

Edit: yep. This works. You definitely have to wait a few moments though before the refresh + adding. So probably more related to the time it takes for the MDList to get "fully created"
