Their character description, which was published IN THE MANGA ITSELF says they are nonbinary.Exactly because of that.
Moron.

They drew lots for that.I understand what do you mean, esp. since Opera usually paired with the girl group when they grouped together. (Like in amusement park, etc)
Look, I already admitted I wasn't in a good state to make my original comment, also wasn't talking about the author at all so idk where that came from. The person I replied to said Opera wasn't non-binary and I tried, horribly so, to correct them. No need to make fun of me, only makes you come off as a jerk.“Agender” is not on the binary. 🤦♀️
Definition of nonbinary. Ah-durr.
Also, Opera’s official character description lists them as nonbinary. Uses the term used in Japan as an umbrella.
I think the author’s word is just as good as Opera’s.
Just maybe the author knows more than you.
Calm down, I'm not even phobic towards any side of the LGBT community, I'm just stating what I know from the manga. If it was in a page left untranslated and most likely not show in this website, how was I supposed to know? Calling Nishi personally and asking him? Learning Japanese for almost a year, maybe more?Their character description, which was published IN THE MANGA ITSELF says they are nonbinary.
Moron.
That is often when one comes off. 🥁makes you come off as a jerk.
You know now.Calm down, I'm not even phobic towards any side of the LGBT community, I'm just stating what I know from the manga. If it was in a page left untranslated and most likely not show in this website, how was I supposed to know? Calling Nishi personally and asking him? Learning Japanese for almost a year, maybe more?
Regardless, you're just dirtying your arguments by throwing random insults. I'll choose to believe you, but keep the insults to yourself.
As an NB person myself, I'm all for Opera. Have hatred for the bigots, you do you. Just make sure you're aiming at the right place. That is often when one comes off. 🥁
I’m not especially bothered that you think I’m a jerk. You did an “I’m sorry but…”
That’s not an apology.
You did a dumb, you said “what I meant was this other stupid thing” and when I point out why there is zero wiggle room on terminology you say “I wasn’t talking about that!”
I know. I am.
I am raising it as another reason saying Opera’s gender is up for debate by you or any other chucklefuck in these comments talking shit.
I’m sick to death of people coming into the comments sections of manga full of queer shit and being low-key or blatantly *phobic.
Happens all the time. People that don’t like it are more likely to be permabanned than the people who do it, because the anime/manga fandom is as toxic as hardcore games (which are sadly the kind I enjoy, because casual games are hard. Gimme Bloodborne over any point and click game).
So yeah. I’m a bitter old bitch, and you can take that to the bank, turn it into a roll of pennies and cram it.
Fair point, but like I said, I don’t mind being an overzealous bitch. Call me a bitch. I own that at this point. As an NB person myself, I'm all for Opera. Have hatred for the bigots, you do you. Just make sure you're aiming at the right place.
I didn't, it's just easy to forget what is stated where when reading a lot of varying series. I knew Opera was stated by author as nonbinary. I said "from their [Opera's] own words" meaning nothing explicit, only implicit as per your example. My wording may often be obtuse, it's something I struggle with a lot being autistic and trying to find the right way to communicate. You're not the first I've had get angry at a genuine attempt to get across my points without a whole essay, reading something out of what I've said or typed that I didnt mean. And… HOW DID YOU MISS CH 204.5???
The demon and Opera themself don't care which gender you think they are. Idk why, but it seems I got splashed on an argument I'm not even part of.They drew lots for that.
Their character description lists them as nonbinary. It was left untranslated, but published and posted.
Faaaaaaakh…
Over here with a queer character as your profile pic and being like this…
Firstly, you opted in.The demon and Opera themself don't care which gender you think they are. Idk why, but it seems I got splashed on an argument I'm not even part of.
Also, I'm just sad when I saw your pf is SasaMiya because your attitude is embarrassing. Sasaki and Miyano always try to understand people and speak in a way that doesn't demean them of anything. It's a warm and wholesome manga and I hope the fans are also good people.
Not in regards to Scala. That was not "truamatic".???
Bro, Iruma's entire background with his parents and then being sold to a Demon is his traumatic backstory from Chapter 1.
