If it was in a page left untranslated and most likely not show in this website, how was I supposed to know? Calling Nishi personally and asking him? Learning Japanese for almost a year, maybe more?

I didn't, it's just easy to forget what is stated where when reading a lot of varying series. I knew Opera was stated by author as nonbinary. I said "from their [Opera's] own words" meaning nothing explicit, only implicit as per your example. My wording may often be obtuse, it's something I struggle with a lot being autistic and trying to find the right way to communicate. You're not the first I've had get angry at a genuine attempt to get across my points without a whole essay, reading something out of what I've said or typed that I didnt mean.

Second, fandoms are foolish constructs, and we should accept that people are individuals.
